Crash Course in First Aid for Parents & Mini Maternity Photo Session

With the First Aid for Parents course, you will learn all about first aid as it applies to infants and children, and learn valuable lessons on how to prevent serious injuries. We will cover topics such as choking, burns, breathing emergencies (CPR), severe allergic reactions, cuts/scrapes, poisonings, nose bleeds, and anything else your little one could get themselves into.

You will also have the opportunity to participate in a pregnancy photo shoot to document your growing baby belly, and capturing happy moments with your significant other.
You will even be able to view your maternity images on the same day after the course to place your order!

Join us to learn new skills and leave with lasting memories.

How do I book just a maternity photo session?

We’d love to capture your growing family and new baby moments. You can use our contact page to find out the best availability for your portrait session, and to set up a pre-session consultation. Maternity Portraits are the most flatteringly captured between weeks 26-36, Newborn Photography Sessions are best held within the first 2 weeks from when baby is born.

What if I am not pregnant? What if the baby’s grandparents participate in the first-aid course? What about my older child who will babysit my baby?

While this event is exclusive to the expectant mother and/or parents, your friends, baby’s grandparents or older siblings, or any one who will come into contact with your child(ren) are more than welcome to register for a future offering of the course. If you are a new or experienced parent wanting to take the course, you can see all the upcoming course dates available on the  National Capital First Aid first-aid for parents course page.
