This year was a complete fluke for weather during our holiday minis and we ended up with TWENTY-degree weather in November, in Canada! I always hope for a fresh dusting of snow for Christmas and Winter minis, but this was better than I could have imagined—it was great for the toddlers and meant that I didn’t freeze either after a long day in the cold. Win, win, win! (Reminds me of why I love doing “Christmas in July” sessions!)
The second day was a little on the chillier side, but it went great. I even got to bring my own family for some beautiful portraits at the tree farm after everyone was done. Of course, in true toddler fashion, little miss insisted on doing her own thing when we needed her and crashed our party when we tried getting some couples photos—resulting in adorable family photos!
While I cannot share ALL the photos from the events (some want privacy, some want their cards to be a surprise), here are a few favourites from the sessions that let me share before the big day.

Did you know? The tree farm can be booked as a photoshoot location for ANY regular session, at any time of year. While it is most popular for our annual holiday mini sessions (usually July + November), evergreens make great portrait backgrounds for those who want a session mid-day as they provide great sun coverage and beautiful halo lighting (that coveted hair glow).
